McDowell’s RCT silences high flying NMB Machindra

NMB Machhindra experiences first defeat as RCT dominated the game as a result advances to first position.

NMB Machhindra started attacking in the match from the very first minute as in the fourth minute of the match Bishal Rai ‘A’ hit the cross bar. IN 10th minute of the match Sekhar Limbu scored first goal of the match for RCT. He scored in direct corner. Machindra goalie Dinesh Thapa had no idea where the ball was. It was only second goal of the tournament conceded by Dinesh Thapa. Karna Limbu failed to control the ball in front of Dilip Chettri in 28th minute which could have been equalizer for Machindra. Again in 35th minute Machindra’s unlucky run continued as Karna Limbu’s shot kissed the cross bar.

RCT doubled the tally keeping unlucky opponet as Bhim Darlami’s pass was superbly used by Komal Khawas who scored his first goal of the season. In 45 minute Bishal Rai ‘A’ heading was clear from the goal line just after their shot kissed the bar for third time in the half proving NMB Machindra unlucky today.

Again in the second minute of the injury time of the first half RCT added another goal in the tally as Amar Dangol puts the ball in the net. The first half ended as 3-0.

The Second half started and Machhindra bulit some tiny pressure but it was useless as RCT added another one via Amar Dangol’s header off Komal Khawas’ cross. Denis, who came as half time substitute got close reducing the deficit but his shot was easily cleared by RCT defenders who had a bit of luck this day.

Near to the end, Dilip produced a moment of Brilliance to deny Machhindra a chance of consolation, he was on his best along with his defenders to keep a shutout. Towards the end both the teams made good attacking plays but failed to convert any and the match ended 4-0.
