Sankata found its first victory in the tournament when the skipper managed to convert the bounced ball into the net after his penalty was saved and the ball bounced back to his leg.

Although Himalayan Sherpa managed to create some chances and dominate the field, they were not able to find the breakthrough in the first half. Sankata managed to strengthen their defense line and made sure that they never conceded the goal despite of opponent’s dominance in the field.

Second half started in a changed way after Sankata delivered some chances and added threats to the opponent goal keeper. They managed to gather a penalty after their center forward was brough down in Sherpa’s box. The penalty was taken by the captain who never found the net in his first attempt, luckily he gathered the ball and scored which was the only one in the game.
