Roma chief Monchi affirmed Manchester United’s Daley Blind was offered to Roma yet the Serie A side picked against a move and turned down the opportunity to sign him.

Roma ruled against signing Daley Blind from Manchester United basically because of financial reasons’, porting director Monchi has said.

“We started to hear something about Emerson before the transfer window opened.
