Barcelona confident on Neymar stay

Barcelona are confident that Brazilian star Neymar will stay at the club despite big money offer from PSG. The vice president of the club Jordi Mestre assured that Neymar will stay at the club despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain’s.

It is believed that PSG is ready to break the bank to trigger Neymar’s release clause, which will leave the decision on Neymar’s hand. PSG are expected to make a marquee signing before the end of the transfer window and they are considering different option including Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez.

Spanish reports claim that PSG look forward to trigger Neymar’s release clause after they completed Dani Alves’s move from Juventus. Alves was initially subject to a move to Manchester City, however PSG anticipated the move at the end.

“PSG want to finalise the signing of Neymar this summer”, wrote Catalan daily Sport.

Marca reported that PSG are willing to pay €222million to release Neymar’s clause and are ready to pay him €30 million every season.
