With Luis Enrique’s announcement to leave Barcelona at the end of contract, Barca will be left out without manager when they end up their Copa Del Rey final.
Enrique is set to end up his tenure with Spanish club after Barcelona face Alaves on Saturday. Barca’s 4-2 comeback victory against Eibar in their last La Liga match this season was last one for their departing manager. However the Barcelona president confirmed that the club will announce new manager on Monday, 29th May, two days after Barcelona face Alaves in the cup final.
“On Monday 29 May we will announce the new coach.” , tweeted the club president Josep Maria Bartomeu.
Atletic Bilbao manager Ernesto Valverde is the front runner to replace current Barcelona manager, however the official decision will be revealed on 29 May.
