Defoe’s future uncertain

The 34 years old Jermain Defoe could be on his last few years of career and way past his sharpness considering other football player’s future. However age has just become a number for the Englishmen after being able to deliberate performance for Sunderland this season.

Although Sunderland were forced relegation, Defoe did good this season and got his chance with England after Kane and Sturridge forced off injury. He has few more years yet to offer in the first tier football.

With Sunderland’s relegation, it would be a major question if Defeo would remain with the club in second tier of English Football and help them get back to the Premier League or would he go away for other options.

With Russia being his last world cup chance, it is likely possible that the 34 years old could choose one of major interested clubs. His 14 goals for the club did not help the black cats survive relegation, however he could help other Premier League clubs next season with Bournemouth, Everton and newly promoted side Newcastle all interested to get his service.
