Former Everton and Manchester United boss David Moyes confirms that he will stay with Sunderland following their relegation to Championship.
Although black cats will be in the second tier of the English Football after their relegation, Moyes vows to stay with them and masterplan their return to the first division of English Football.
“I don’t know what you mean by ‘decision’. I’ve got a four-year contract, so I don’t know what you’re talking about ‘a decision’.”
Asked if he was therefore definitely committed to Sunderland for next season, Moyes replied: “Yes, so we have to work, we have to find a way to get things correct.
Moyes joined Sunderland after Sam Allardyce’s departure, and predicted early in the season that his side were in a battle to avoid relegation.
“Right from the start, we did say it looked like a rebuilding job to be done,” he added.
“Hopefully we can get that going, try and get things in place, but I will know more come the end of the season.
Moyes has only been able to deliver five victories in Premier League this season under his Tenure.
