David Moyes insists he wants to stay on as Sunderland manager and also lead the club back right into the Premier League.
The Black Pet cats’ 10-year stay in the top flight involved an end after a 1-0 residence defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday.
Moyes was appointed last summer season and also has faced criticism from some followers after simply five wins this period.
“It’s a collective from top to bottom, it would be wrong to blame any individual.
“But football clubs are much stronger than any one individual so Sunderland will bounce back, I have no doubt.”
“I would like to make sure we get Sunderland back in the Premier League that’s for sure.
“I think the job is to make sure we try to get ourselves prepared and ready. We are just in this position so to think about it now is too quick.”
