Real Madrid defeat Leganes 2-4 in an away match to move ahead of Barcelona in the league table, thanks to the hat trick from Alvaro Morata.

With nine changes, Real were without their key players Bale and Ronaldo as they prepare for a much busy April where they face Atletico Madrid in local derby and Barcelona in La Liga match followed by two legged Championship Lague clash against Bayern Munich.

James Rodriguez racked up first goal for Real while Morata scored two times in first half to make it 3-0 to the visitors before the home side pulled back two to make it competitive at the end of first half.

Morata scored against in third minute of second half to mark his hat trick and confirm Real’s victory. Real Madrid are with 71 points in 29 games, two points ahead of Barcelona that has played 30 games.
