Zlatan Ibrahimovic helps increase Manchester United fan club base

Ever since Manchester United signed Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic from PSG, the Red Devils’ fan club has increased by almost eight million.

Shocked? Just ask United player JesperBlomqvist, who said the summer signing has made such an impact on his homeland that extra planes are being arranged from Sweden to Old Trafford so that fans can come to watch Zlatan play.

“He is one of the biggest personalities in Sweden. He has launched his own perfume, Volvo cars and his own sports clothing range. He is his own brand.

“He is everywhere even though he has stopped playing for the national team. I work a lot with travel companies in Sweden coming over to Manchester. The interest is just triple,” Blomqvist was quoted as saying by The Sun.
