Crystal Palace thave confirmed they have completed the signing of past Stockpile midfielder Mathieu Flamini on a free agent.

The 32-year-old has been a free authority since being released from the Emirates club in the late spring, having appeared for the club last season.

In the wake of signing for Crystal Palace, Flamini said: “Crystal Palace is an astoundingly forceful club with phenomenal players and I am reckoning being a bit of that squad. It is an amazingly fascinating test for me and I am especially excited to be here.

“I have had chance to look at the move here with Alan Pardew and he genuinely helped me settle on my decision.”
