Kolbeinn Sigthorsson has joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan with a perspective to a lasting move from Nantes.
The arrangement contains an understanding for Galatasaray to buy the Iceland striker for €3.8 million on April 30, 2017.
Sigthorsson joined Nantes from Ajax in July a year ago however netted only four goals in 29 appearances in all rivalries and has not scored in two recreations for the Ligue 1 side this season. He has showed a tremondous gameplay for Iceland in EuroCup 2016.
“I’m exceptionally upbeat. Galatasaray is a huge and memorable club. I’m happy to be here,” Sigthorsson said.
