John Stones has completed his move to Manchester City in a £47.5m deal on a six-year contract.

The charge, which makes Stones the most expensive defence in English Premier League  history, will increment to £50m with extra things.

Stones told the club’s official website: “I’m totally satisfied to sign for City and now the course of action done I’m suspecting the running with stage in my occupation.

“I’ve obviously seen what’s going on here at the Etihad, it’s an objective masterminded Club with a mind boggling manager so I can hardly hold up to get stuck in and complete the goals.

“I know it will be exceptional getting a spot in this party yet I’m made courses of action to wind up the best player I can be and help us to accomplishment.

“I had an awe-inspiring time with Everton and need them and their fans to welcome all that life passes on to the table yet now I’ll give my solitary for City.”

City manager Pep Guardiola included: “We have to help John demonstrate his quality with us and redesign what he has starting now competent.

“I like the way he plays the redirection and I’m envisioning welcoming him into the squad.”

Stones, who will take squad No 24, changes into City’s eighth stamping of the mid year trade window, taking after Ilkay Gundogan, Nolito, Aleksandar Zinchenko, Aaron Mooy, Leroy Standard, Gabriel Jesus and Marlos Moreno.
