When Fabian Delph’s name came out in the starting lineup against Switzerland, Manchester City fans were on cloud nine to see their new signing in action. But just after nine seconds of the start, they were in for the unfortunate. Delph pulled out his hamstring and was forced to be substituted in just the first minute of the match. With this injury, Delph is certain to miss four weeks and it will take some time for him to regain match fitness. Delph will miss high intensity match against Juventus in Champions League and Tottenham Hotspur in Premier League.

But all is not sad for Cityzens as they will have their new signing Kevin De Bruyne available for selection. The record signing from Wolfsburg is set to be handed debut but might not be as a starter with Pellegrini waiting for player to settle in with the team.
