India will play Iran in World Cup Qualifiers to be played in India.

Indian coach Stephan Constantine has said the players will need to be at their best if the team is to produce anything from this. Sunil Chettri will take over the skipper role from Subrata Paul and the team will be hoping the forward will continue his scoring spree. With goals in each of the matches India has played in Qualifiers, Chhetri is set to write his name in the history books.
There are news that Gurpreet Singh Sandhu will be awarded his senior team debut as Subrata Paul is dropped. He will become 498th player to represent India.
