Louis Van Gaal plays down Manchester United and Neymar transfer rumor and hints transfer move for PSG forward

After failing to tie down Pedro from FC Barcelona, Manchester United are eyeing a move for PSG winger Ezequiel Lavezzi.

When Pedro was said to be leaving Barcelona, Manchester United tried to lower the price even though he was available for just £21 millions. But due to Ed Woodward’s approach to make the transfer happen, Chelsea hijacked the deal and signed the forward-winger for same price. Pedro went on to score and assist and win Man of the Match against West Bromwich Albion in his debut for Chelsea. On the opposite, Louis Van Gaal did not utter a word on the Pedro deal as he looked furious with questions raised on that topic. Also, he denied any contacts with barcelona over other transfer which means the club are not trying on Neymar.

After failing to sign the Spanish International, United are said to be interested in Ezequiel lavezzi from PSG. Lavezzi is said to have fallen with Laurent Blanc and after Di Maria’s arrival at Paris, Lavezzi is keen to leave the club. With stint in Napoli previously, United could make a move for the Argentine wing-forward.
