Kane, who was involved in the second goal was lively throughout the play and forced Butland to make two sharp saves and connected well with Eriksen and Chadli up front.
But, due to the ankle injury he sustained, the striker was replaced. The frontline of Tottenham looked bleak and no moves materialized as Stoke pressed hard and got two goals within 5 minutes. As per the initial reports, Kane was brought off as a precaution and might be rested from training for next few days. He will be assessed after the match and it looks the injury is not so serious. Pochettino hauled off Kane after seemingly in control with 2-0 lead.
