Alexis Sanchez fails to inspire Arsenal as Cech’s debut ends on derby defeat to West Ham.

Arsenal lost their first match of the season to city rivals West Ham as Petr Cech’s debut ends on a loss.

When Wenger named the team to play West Ham, Petr Cech was making his debut for Arsenal while Alexis Sanchez came to the bench after returning to training. The week started better for Alex Oxlade Chamberlain as he scored the winner in Community Shield against Chelsea but it hit a new low as his mistake led to a goal. The first goal resulted after Cech failed to read the play and West Ham doubled the league capitalizing Chamberlain’s mistake.

Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez came later on to try get something back but the hopes were dashed after good play from West Ham. Slaven Bilic’s men were knocked out of Europa League last week and they looked like they kept the loss behind already. Dimitri Payet was exceptional for the team while Adrian looked sharp in between the sticks.
