Brazilian midfielder Roberto Firmino has been announced as a Liverpool player which has opened up a chance for Manchester City to sign Raheem Sterling.
Manuel Pellegrini and Co are set to make a final bid of 35 million pounds for Raheem Sterling after seeing their previous bid of 30 millions rejected. With transfer of Roberto Firmino confirmed from Hoffenheim and Sterling admitting he wants to leave Merseyside, Manchester City are favorites to land the Englishmen and will help in City’s effort to add up homegrown talents.
City let go Milner on a free transfer to liverpool after failing to agree new deal with the English International while Sterling rejected a new contract worth the double of his current salary to leave Liverpool. It is said that City are ready to fulfill his personal demands but transfer fee between the clubs is stalling the progress of the deal. Firmino cost Liverpool 28 million pounds and the midfielder has signed a four year contract.
