Sergio Ramos is set to join Manchester United soon after failing to extend his contract with Real Madrid.
Spanish International and Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos is set to join Manchester United in this transfer window. Reports from spanish media has revealed that the defender has rejected new contract talks and with just two years remaining in the contract, Madrid are expected to cash in on the star defender. With Raphael Varane and Pepe playing in the first team well, Madrid could push the move forward.
There are also rumors about Madrid and United being involved in a swap deal. With Real Madrid interested in United goalkeeper David De Gea, the clubs could agree on a straight swap deals. In case the deal goes through, either of Iker Casillas or Jesus Navas could leave the club while Nacho Fernandez could see more of first team action. Manchester United have already signed Memphis Depay from PSV in this window.
