After a comparatively successful spell with Real Madrid, Javier Hernandez’s market value has rose a little and Manchester United are aiming to get the most of it.

Manchester United could use Javier Hernandez to attract their transfer targets

Manchester United could use Javier Hernandez to attract their transfer targets

When Javier Hernandez joined Real Madrid on loan, everyone knew he would be second fiddle to Karim Benzema in the Real Madrid lineup. However, Hernandez proved to be more than a second choice striker as he scored some important goals towards the end of the season during the absence of Benzema. Hernandez’s goal against Atletico Madrid in the quarterfinal of UEFA Champions League was the high point while he got some late goals like he did in United at the Bernabau too.

With Hernandez set to return to Man United and Louis Van Gaal not opting to use Mexican in his plans, the forward might be used as a bait in order to secure other deals. With Bendekit Howedes of Schalke, Kevin Strootman of Roma and Monaco midfielder Kondogbia being the primary targets for United, the Mexican be of some use for United.
