Brad Friedel dashes out chances of Harry Kane joining Manchester United

Former US International and soon to retire Tottenham goalkeeper Brad Friedel has said that Harry Kane will stay at Tottenham next season.

When the season started, Harry Kane was just a youngster in the squad who hoped to get a handfull of appearances and at most try to break into the first team. But the philosophy of Mauricio Pochettino to upgrade youth players of the club worked well yet again and Harry Kane made most of it. Kane, aged just 21 is league’s second top scorer and club’s top scorer.

With great end of the season, Manchester United are said to be interested in the striker. With lack of firepower up top, United’s striker failed big time as Louis Van Gaal’s side made return to the Champions League. But much was expected from this side after huge expenditure made in the transfer window. They are now aiming to rebuild the team up front as Radamel Falcao’s loan expires and Robin Van Persie looks out of touch.
