September 1999 v Everton

Gerrard’s first red came against City rivals Everton as the midfielder got red carded in the 90th minute after a high foot challenge. Everton won the derby 1-0 at Anfield then with Gerrard coming in as a substitute midway of second half.

April 2001 v Leeds

Gerrard scored for Liverpool at Anfield in this match but got sent off in 70th minute after kicking David Batty and Liverpool lost the match 2-1.

September 2001 v Aston Villa

Yet again, Gerrard scored in the game and his team went on to lost the match by 3-1. This time s well, he was sent off in midway of second half.

May 2003 v Chelsea
Liverpool were fighting for Champions Legue berth against Chelsea and needed a win to confirm it but Gerrard got his second booking in the match and Liverpool lost the match 2-1.

March 2006 v Everton
Gerrard was sent off for his second booking in just 18 minutes in this match. Liverpool won the match by 3-1 despite not having his services in maximum part of the game.

March 2015 v Manchester United
Gerrard lasted just 43 second on the pitch as he stamped Ander Herrera shortly after coming in as a second half substitute.
