Real Madrid are set to play Levante ahead of their all awaited clash against Barcelona.
Real Madrid will be without James Rodriguez for few weeks as Carlo Ancelotti looks to put his team back in the top of the league table. Currently behind Barcelona in the league table by four points, Ancelotti is aiming to move to the top with consecutive wins, starting with Levante tonight. Ancelotti will be expecting his out of form attackers to fire in this match to take off some pressure ahead of El Clasico to follow next week.
Luka Modric is expected to make his first start after returning from injury and Ancelotti will get to rest Toni Kroos ahead of top of the table clash against Barcelona. Kroos is just a booking away from one match suspension and German International is unlikely to be rested in this encounter with options in bench. Sami Khedira is expected to partner Isco and Modric in the lineup with Lucas Silva awaiting for his chance as well.
