Luka Modric set to return from Injury against Levante as Ancelotti hands starting berth

Luka Modric could start the match against Levante after coming on as a substitute in cameo appearance against Schalke 04 in Champions League. Modric, who was out injured for couple of months has been missed in Real Madrid’s lineup as the side looks to have lost the creative spark they had some months ago. Madrid were on emphatic winning run with Modric on the team but the team’s form went berserk after defeat against Valencia, which also ended Madrid’s record winning run.

With Toni Kroos one booking away form suspension and all anticipated El Clasico just about in the horizon, Modric could be the first name Carlo would pick in game against Levante. Lucas Silva and Isco are both expected to complete midfielder trio with the Croatian international.Madrid are a point behind leaders Barcelona in the league table.
