Federico Mattiello broke his leg after a challenge from Radja Nainngolan went wrong

Federico Matiello broke his leg in a Serie A match between AS Roma and Chievo. The tackle from Radja Nainngolan in the 16th minute of the game went wrong and Federico ended on the receiving side as he seemed to have broken his leg. Matiello was given breating and taken off the field in a stretcher. It appeared that the leg break was serious and the player is sure to miss rest of the season. Valter Birsa replaced the injured Matiello sooner after the player was taken off.
