Nepal announce final squad for qualifiers against India

Head Coach Jack Stefanowski announced final 23 men squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifier against India.

Six uncapped players have been included in the final squad of Nepalese National Team to play India in FIFA World Cup qualifiers against India. MMC midfielder Bishal Rai and Three Star’s Ranjit Dhimal have been included in the squad along with former U-17 skipper Heman Gurung. Three players from the U-17 team, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Anant Tamang and Anjan Bista have made it to the final squad. Hari Khadka will be acting as the assistant to Head Coach Jack Stefanowski.

Goalkeepers:

Bikesh Kuthu, Kiran Chemjong, Ritesh Thapa

Defenders:

Biraj Maharjan, Sagar Thapa, Sandip Rai, Rabin Shrestha, Ananta Tamang, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Rohit Chand

Midfielders:

Heman Gurung, Ranjit Dhimal, Bikram Lama, Bhola Silwal, Bishal Rai, Raju Tamang, Jagajeet Shrestha

Forwards:

Anil Gurung, Santosh Shahukhala, Anjan Bista, Bharat Khawas, Bimal Gharti Magar, Jumanu Rai

Shiva Shrestha is named as the backup player for second leg if anyone gets injured.
