Liverpool FC will be without youngster Jordan Ibe for few weeks after the winger picked up a knee injury in last midweek’s Europa League defeat to Besiktas. Manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed that the youngster who has been playing very well since his recall from Derby County will miss next few matches including cup tie against Blackburn and league matches against Manchester United and Swansea.
The midfielder impressed in his loan spell at Derby and Rodgers cut short his loan move to bring him straight into the team. Ibe has been impressive for Liverpool in recent matches and there are rumors that the club is offering him a new contract soon. Liverpool are facing Burnley in a Premier League encounter on Wednesday night. After beating Manchester City at the Anfield, Rodgers is hopeful that they will continue to pick maximum points at home for Champions League in consecutive season.
