Jozy Altidore all set to make MLS bow after switching from Premier League

When Jermain Defoe came to England, there was much expected from him and he fulfilled it by scoring goals for Tornto FC. Amid rumors of him falling homesick came a news in early January. The news was so surprising that lots of people found it hard to believe. Sunderland and Toronto agreed on a transfer deal which included swap deal of Jermain Defoe and Jozy Altidore. Both the strikers swapped their clubs to return home country.

The US International striker who is just 25 years old spent miserable one and half year at Wearside where he managed to get on scoresheet just one time. But the striker is optimist about his move and said he wanted to make the move more than the club wanted him. There were rumors about other clubs wanting the signature but Toronto pounced onto the chance and player did not think about anything.
