Manchester City Manager Manuel Pellegrini has warned Barcelona to be aware of City’s attacking threat as the sides prepare to face each other in UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg tie.
Barcelona have been warned to be aware of Manchester City’s attacking threat by Manager Manuel Pellegrini after the side overcame 5-0 win against Newcastle United in the premier league. Barcelona on the other hand were handed a shocking 1-0 loss at home by Malaga. Yaya Toure made his comeback into the Manchester City lineup in the match but the midfielder is not available for selection after being sent off in group match against CSKA Moscow last year.
The sides played each other at the same stage in last seasons Champions League as well and Barcelona came out to be the winners as they went through with 4-1 aggregate win. With revenge on mind, Pellegrini as added up new signing Wilfried Bony to the matchday squadalong with Bosnian Edin Dzeko and Argentine Sergio Aguero.
