England Skipper Wayne Rooney is expected to return to his favored role of striker as Louis Van Gaal reverts to four defenders against Swansea.
It has been long since Wayne Rooney last scored in Premier League. The striker is yet to make a shot on target in this year as Manchester United prepare to take on Swansea, who they lost at home in the first match of this season. Things have changed a lot since then with only four players in contention to start the match from that team.
With Ander Herrera showing great performance in recent cup match against Preston and Daley Blind passed fit to start, Wayne Rooney is expected to start as a striker after a long time with Falcao in the attacking third. Maroune Fellaini also pushes for a starting berth after making consecutive impact substitutions for the manchester based club.
Probable XI vs Swansea:
David De Gea
Antonio Valencia – Chris Smalling – Marcos Rojo – Luke Shaw
Maroune Fellaini – Daley Blind – Ander Herrera
Juan Mata
Radamel Falcao – Wayne Rooney
