Ghana and Equatorial Guinea will play each other in a semifinal clash of AFCON 2015.

Ghana beat Guinea by 3-0 to reach the semi-finals of the tournament while Equatorial Guinea beat Tunisia in a spot kick battle to book their places in the semifinals. The spot kick battle was somehow controversial as Equatorial Guinea equalised the match in a controversial penalty they won in the last minute of regulation time. The winner of this match will play Ivory Coast in the finals.

Team News:

Asamoah Gyan is injured and it has been confirmed that the striker will not be able to play the semifinal clash against Equatorial Guinea. Ghanaian striker was not fully fit in prvious matches as well and misssed the first match of the tournament. However, it is not sure whether the striker will miss the final or not in case his team manages to win the match.
