Liverpool visit London to play Chelsea in the return leg of Semi-finals of Capital One Cup to be played at Stamford Bridge.

The first leg between the sides ended 1-1 at the Anfield. Eden Hazard opened the scoring in the 18th minute of the match but Raheem Sterling’s solo goal levelled the scoring for Liverpool. Liverpool have not won any of the match in last six meetings between the sides. Chelsea have been victorious in three occasions while three games have ended in draw.

Team News:

Cesar Azpillicueta is not fully fit and will not be put into tough match straight away with Filipe Luis covering well instead of the Spanish international. Jose Mourinho might bring in young Frenchmen Kurt Zouma in place of Gary Cahill as manager looks to rotate the squad. Petr Cech will continue to guard the post ahead of Thibaut Courtois who is out injured and Mourinho might not play the Belgian just yet as the Czech international is deputizing very well.

Kolo Toure is on international duty with Ivory Coast and will not be available for this match. Daniel Sturridge has resumed training but is not fit enough to return in match action just yet. Jon Flanagan is still out injured and will not be available for few more weeks. Brad Jones has picked up an injury which will keep him out of match action for about a month. Joe Allen is also sidelined with an injury and will not be available for selection. Glen Johnson continues to recover from his injury with Mario Balotelli also not fully match fit. Steven Gerrard missed recent win over Aston Villa with a persistent hamstring problem but he could be drafted in the right forward role in which he has flourished in recent times.
