Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid play each other in second leg of Copa Del Rey fixture in Santiago Bernanbau.

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid : Match Preview- Copa Del Rey

Fernando Torres – Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid

The first leg between the sides ended 2-0 in favor of home side Atletico Madrid. Raul Garcia scored the opener from the spot in an hour mark while Jose Gimenez doubled the score in the 76th minute of the match.

Team News:

Luka Modric is the only injury concern for the Champions League holders as they chase the game to book a place in next round of Copa Del Rey. The defending Copa Del Rey champions need to score at least three goals if they are to go through to the next round. Carlo Ancelotti is likely to play his first choice front three of Gareth Bale, Kareme Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo in this match as he eyes goals. Ronaldo did not start in the first leg at the Claderon. Sergio Ramos will be brought back in to starting lineup after sitting out of recent 3-0 win over Espanyol in the league. Dani Carvajal also served his suspension in the game and might retain his place in the right back role despite his replacement scoring one of the goals in that victory.

Diego Simeone does not have any injury concerns in the squad  and will get to chose his strongest lineup if they are to see out their cross city rivals. Fernando Torres was handed his debut on the first leg on his return to the Calderon and he could yet again lead the line with Antoinne Griezmann straying just behind of the Spanish striker. Siqueira might be deployed in left back position.

Probable Starting Lineup:

Atletico Madrid:

Formation: 4-4-1-1
