Peter Odemwingie is out injured and will not be available for this match. Glenn Whelan continues to recover from injury as does Victor Moses who has already missed three matches in a trot. Johanathan Walters is not fully fit and will be assessed prior to the kick off. Robert Huth is not yet fit enough for match action as he continues to return to fitness.

Olivier Giroud is tipped to start the match after two impressive substitute appearance in the league. Danny Welbeck might be dropped to bench with the Frenchmen starting up front with Alexis Sanchez and Oxlade Chamberlain in the wings. Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott will not travel to the Britannia as the English duo are struggling with injury. Mikel Arteta and Abou Diaby are both injured and will join Mesut Ozil in injury front. Mathieu Debuchy is still not fit and continues to sit out with Callum Chambers deputizing well.
