Newcastle go into this match with Mousa Sissoko and Jack Colback both available for selection after missing previous match through suspension. Long term absentees Davide Santon and Siem De Jong are both still out injured while Gabriel Obertan is also trying to recover from his persistent hamstring problem. Jonas Guiterrez is trying to regain his fitness after beating cancer. Dutch Goalkeeper Tim Krul will miss the match due to injury and Rob Elliott is set to deputize the regular goalkeeper.

Nemanja Matic picked up his fifth yellow card in recent 3-0 victory against SPurs and will be unavailable for the game at St. James’ Park. Mourinho is yet to win a game here on Tyneside and will deploy John Obi Mikel in place of suspended Serbian. Brazilian midfielder Ramires has been yet to recover from his injury and will sit out of the match. Portugese Manager however, will have his Spanish forward Diego Costa available for selection after missing the recent derby victory against Spurs due to suspension.
