Barcelona will host the match against the Ajax to play their third match in the today’s clash of UEFA Champions League  2014/15 season.

Football Club Barcelona and Ajax will be taking on each other in the today’s fixture of of ongoing UEFA Champions League. In this third  match of the group stage round, both teams will be eyeing for the victory as Barcelona have mix result in the other group stage matches and Ajax have ended all the previous group stage match as a draw.

Barcelona and Ajax are grouped in the Group F along with Paris Saint Germain and APOEL Nicosia where Paris Saint Germain are in the top of the group table with four points meanwhile, Barcelona are in the second position with only three points. Ajax and APOEL Nicosia are in the third and last position respectively.

Barcelona have started their opening match of this group stage round by defeating APOEL Nicosia 1-0 but they failed to continue their good game as they lost the match against Paris Saint Germain with the 3-2 goal score. Meanwhile, Ajax were held on a 1-1 draw with Paris Saint Germain  and they played another draw match against the APOEL Nicosia in the second match.

LuIis Suarez will not be included with the team as he is still in the suspension and he will returns for the EL Elasico at this weekend. Thomas Vermaelen and Douglas are remains doubtful due to the minor injury.

Ajax have no any new and serious injury as Viktor Fisher is still unavailable for the match due to the hamstring injury and Nicolai Boilesen and Thulani Serero are doubtful to starts the match.

In the both side last two head to head meetings in the UEFA Champions League on 2013, Barcelona and Ajax have won the one match each in their respective home.

Football Club Barcelona vs Ajax will be kick off at 20:45 local time in the Camp Nou Stadium at Barcelona, Spain. The referee of the match will be William Collum and he is from the Scotland.
