Schalke have been impressive this season, playing a draw against Bayern Munich and Chelsea, a victory against Borussia Dortmund was another impressive result for the home side with a new coach in the helm, Roberto di Matteo.

Although the performance when teared off looks impressive for Schalke, however they have won just two of their seven league games so far under the new coach. With Hertha Berlin to host, Schalke will look for a victory to get right back to their track.

Draxler is expected to start for the home side despite the 21 year old German international picked a minor knock during German’s Euro Cup 2016 qualification match against the Republic of Ireland.
Captain Benedikt Howedes is also expected to start for Schalke after getting four matches into the sidelines.
