Liverpool’s struggle so far in the league means they are desperate to open up their account during the January transfer window and Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus certain to be their top priority according to the reports.

Liverpool Marco Reus Rumor

With January Transfer window less than two months to approach, the clubs may be certainly setting up their priority for the window, but it seems for the fans too early to get into the transfer gossips.

However, Metro, Express, Liverpool Echo all hint, that Rodgers is set to make Reus his highest paid player in Liverpool.

The 25-year-old has scored an incredible 43 goals and made 40 assists in just 96 matches with the German giants, and it’s reported that Anfield officials have green-lit a £200,000 a week contract for the player – an increase of his current wage packet of £60,000.

While Manchester City have made an official inquiry on the German international a week back, Rodgers’ plan to offer him a huge wage means they will have to consider something serious for his signature.

Beside, Arsenal also showed their interest to bring the 25 years old at the Emirates Stadium.
