Asian Game – Nepal Face 4-0 defeat to Iraq

Nepal started their group stage Campaign in 17th Asian game with a 4-0 defeat to Iraq. Bashar Resan, Younis Mohmud and Ali Bhajat scored one each for the winning side while Persija Jakarta man Rohit Chand found his own net in a 4-0 defeat.

Nepal were pushed behind in the very early minute of the game as Bashar Resan utilized a defensive lag in the forth minute to get their first goal in the game. Nepal conceded another in the added time of the first half, Younish Mohmud got the net for the winning side.

The third goal remained an own one from Rohit Chand, while the forth goal was scored by Ali Bhajat in the first minute of the added time in the second half.

The U23 side with three senior players will face Kuwait next in their second match on September 17, Wednesday.
