Bal Gopal Maharjan – We defeated Asia’s Stronger Nation as a team

Coach Bal Gopal Maharjan was delighted to speak after a 2-1 victory to Kuwait. He believes that Kuwait was a tough team and the victory was possible with a team work.

Speaking with the reporters in a post-match conference, coach Bal Gopal Maharjan displayed his excitement after the victory and believed Kuwait was a tough team to conquer.

“We played good game; we are developing Football Nation and the only team from South Asia in the contest. I am happy for my team’s victory.”, coach Bal Gopal Maharjan said.

“Korea is one of the best team in the contest. We played a friendly match with South Korea and displayed good performance, so we expect something similar with North Korea. ”, he said.

“North Korea is a tough team and we have to focus and tackle as a team.” he continued.

“Possibly we will look for a victory and go as a group winner and have an advantage but Korea is tough so at least a draw would work.”, he commented about the last group match.

“The weather was even worse today as the temperature remained unfavorable for our team.”, coach Bal Gopal Maharjan concluded.

Nepal will play their third and final match of the group at Rajamangala Stadium against Korea DPR on Thursday.
