Nepal U16 head coach Bal Gopal Maharjan believed that the penalty that took Nepal behind in the game was a controversial one, as he believes that changed the phase of the game.

Nepal conceded an early second half goal after Ananta Tamang was booked in an incident that Chinese referee Tan Hai believed was a spot Kick.

However Nepal’s coach Bal Gopal Maharjan had different opinion as he believed that was no way near to be awarded as the spot kick.

“The Uzbekistan Player came from behind and then simulated himself to ground which referee saw as a foul. Uzbekistan, in many occasions simulated the moments, but the referee should have considered the yellow card.”, he said in a post match conference.

Aditionally he also added that Bimal’s return would boost up the team’s performance and Nepal should concentrate more in the remaining matches.
