Germany and Argentina play each other in an international friendly, which happens to be the rematch of FIFA World Cup 2014 Final.

Team News:

Joachim Low has called back Mario Gomez into the squad and will be hoping to start the match after missing out on World Cup squad due to injury. Marco Reus also makes his return into the Germany squad. Reus injured himself in World Cup warm-up match and sat out of the tournament. Shkodran Mustafi replaced Reus in World Cup squad. Phillip lahm and Per Mertesacker both have retired from International Football and new faces like Kramer, Durm and Rudiger are set to be called up into the squad. Bastian Schweinsteiger has been given the captain’s armband.

Tata Martino has been appointed as the new Argentina coach and he will be without skipper Lionel Messi for his first match, who pulled out of the squad due to injury. Tottenham Hotspur Midfielder Erik lamela has been called up instead of the skipper and will be hoping to start the game along with Aguero and Lavezzi up front.
