Steaua Bucarest vs PFC Ludogorets Razgrad play each other in a knockout phase match of UEFA Champions League qualifiers for the season 2014/15.

Steaua Bucarest came into this round after defeating Aktobe by 4-3 in aggregate in closely contested tie. Steaua held Aktobe for a 2-2 draw in their first awya leg and came back home to seal the tie with a 2-1 win. Claudiu Kesery and Andrei Prepelita scored leading goals in the first leg while Alexandru Chipciu and Nicolae Stanciu’s first half goals meant Steaua would move to the next round.

PFC Ludogorets Razgrad on the other hand had a tough tie and came through on away goals. They were held for a goal-less draw in the first leg at home and had a tough task to at least score in the second leg, away from home. Marcelinho’s two early goals meant they had the upper hand but Petar Skuletic scored two goals in five minutes to level the score. The teams held off and PFC moved into the next round on away goals rule.
