OGC Nice were involved in five friendly matches last month and they could not win any of them. They lost 5-1 to Norwich City, Brentford beat them by 3-2 and they lost out by 2-1 against french powerhouse Paris Saint Germain. They were held to a goal-less draw by Frejus Saint Raphael but also lost to yet another French team Bordeaux by 2-0.
Barcelona are playing their second pre-season friendly for the season preparation. They won their first pre-season friendly by 1-0 against Recreativo Huelva in which academy player Joan Roman scored the winning goal. Many player have resumed their training since then and they will be trying to impress their new boss Luis Enrique.
