Switzerland and Honduras play last group match in Group E of FIFA World Cup 2014.
This is just the second meeting between the sides in international football. The previous match between the sides was in 2010 FIFA World Cup when Honduras held Switzerland for a 0-0 draw in a group containing then champions Spain.
Honduras have an outside chance of getting into the next round if Ecuador loses to France Heavily and they beat Switzerland. Honduras have lost both their games in the tournament and are on verge of crashing out. They lost 3-0 to France in their opening game and then 2-1 to Ecuador in the following fixture.
Switzerland have a good chance of making their place into the next round and they can do that with a win here over Honduras side. They won the first match against Ecuador by 2-1 but lost out to a full attack minded France side by 5-2.
Team News:
Honduras have Wilson Palacios back from suspension and will be playing from the start in this match. Carlo Costly and Jerry Bengston were lively in the match against Ecuador and will continue to start n this game too. Juan Carlos Garcia might come in for EMilio Izaguirre.
Steve Von Bergen was substituted after injury in early stages of last game and he might not make it this game meaning Senderos will start this game too. Blerim Dzemaili could be rewarded with a start after a goalscoring cameo in the previous game. Sefferovic might be dropped back to the bench with Josip Drmic leading the attack in his own for this crucial match against Honduras.
