All Nepal Football Association President Ganesh Thapa vows to increase the level of National team withing next three years, as he promises to focus in the development of the national team.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with News 24 Television, President Ganesh Thapa talked about the development of Nepalese Football, World Cup and obloquy over the money from Bin Hamamm.

His clarification were almost alike he spoke in a press conference at ANFA complex on Monday.

“The money that Sunday Times reported was $1,15,000 and it was not pound. That was for business purpose and I have been paying taxes for those business”, Ganesh Thapa claimed.

“Hammam is my friend from almost 19 years and money given from him to my son Gaurav Thapa is like money given from a father to the son. I voted him only because he was capable.”, he continued about the criticism.

“I have been paying taxes for my business, I have never done anything that would question pride of Nepalese Football. I am ready to prove if any concerned authorities ask me for.”, he stated.

Meanwhile Thapa also claimed that Nepalese Football has been developing, however it has failed to give any results. For that, he promises to specially focus in the development of National team for three years to yield better result.

“I can say that Nepalese Football has been developing. The development is not only measured by title. I dream of players making their life out of football and this is possible now. “,  he claimed.

“We have been playing good football, we won 2-0 to India.”, he stated, however Nepal won 2-1 to India in SAFF Championship.

“A penalty could never judge a star player”, he backed up Rohit Chand about the penalty miss.

Also Speaking about ongoing world cup, he stated that he favors Argentina to win the world cup and has been admirer of the team since he likes Maradona.

“I am Argentina’s supporter, Maradona is the reason I support Argentina as he is my idol. I am also Messi’s fan”, Ganesh Thapa displayed his opinion in World Cup Football.
