MMC Enters Final Beating NPC in Extra Time

Late Penalty strike from Sabindra Shrestha sends game to the extra time letting Sulav and Sujal to add flavor for MMC.

Jumanu’s strike in the starting minutes of the first half turns useless as Sabindra Shrestha strikes on a penalty to take the game to the extra time where Sulav Maskey and Sujal Shrestha adds one goal in each half of the extra time to confirm MMC’s spot in the final. They will face RCT Saturday 5 PM NST in the Ncell cup 2069 final.

Manang Marsyangdi started the game dominating the first half. They possessed dominance in attack but failed to find a lead. Sabindra Shrestha converted the penalty as he fired the left footed shot into the goal which took the game to the extra time.

Extra time favored MMC as Sulav Maskey found the goal utilizing Police’s attention on injured Bharat Shah who was immediately substituted. They got a 2-1 lead in the first half of the extra time later doubled in the second half after Sujal started the counter attack passing the ball to Ram who delivered the ball to Sulav Maskey who later provided an assist to Sujal Shrestha, finds a header in open goal making MMC’s place confirmed in the finals of the Ncell cup.
