Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been named the highest paid coach in the world by French weekly sports publication France Football.

The blues boss who suggested a pay cut to make his return to the Stamford bridge makes a cool salary of €17m a year as suggested by French Weekly publication.

The 51 years old Portuguese who played as a center defender back at his time as a player first started his managerial career as the top-tier manager as Benfica coach where he leaded the team for nine league games before resigning from the post.

Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger who is reported to get paid slightly more than half of what Mourinho gets, has been named second best paid manager in the English premier league and the world as the English Premier League managers leads the top paying chart in the world.

The 64 years old Frenchman Wenger has taken the charge of the club since last 18 years when he joined the English Premier League side back in 1996 from Japanese league side Nagoya Grampus Eight.

While former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini who has been enjoying his days at Turkish top side Galatasary has been earning reportedly more than Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti on €14m a year deal.

Although receiving a  €1.5m rise on his salary after quitting Paris Saint-Germain for the Bernabeu, Ancelotti  – who was on the podium in last year’s annual list – slipped to fourth.
