Aaha Rara Gold Cup – Manang Sideline Sankata to Enter Last Four

League winners Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marsyangdi Club with aim to create history enter the last four of the 12^th Aaha Rara Gold Cup defeating CMG Club Sankata 2-0 in the last semifinal of the tournament.

Anil Gurung and Sujal Shrestha scored a piece for the winning side while Sujal was awarded ‘man of the match’ for his one goal and assist.

Anil Gurung took his team ahead to celebrate in front of his home crowd in 9^th minute scoring in a header off Sujal Shrestha’s cross.

MMC looked the superior side through the game, as they doubled the lead in second half, Sujal Shrestha scoreing through a strong left footed half volley that led Sankata keeper Pierre no chance to stop the goal.

MMC with the victory will now face Nepal Police club in the second semifinal while the first semifinal of the match will be played between Machhindra FC and hosts Sahara FC.
